Just made this video for a fantastic project called At Swim. Former colleagues from The Irish Writers Centre Brendan Mac Evilly and Michael O'Reilly are heading off around Ireland to create a book on Ireland's swimming holes.

With 24 days to go the campaign is already at 78%. And the guys have been featured in the Irish Times:

and on the Brendan O'Connor show on RTÉ radio 1:

Who knew they were so connected?

Here is the link to the kickstarter campaign - why not pre-order a book which is bound to be amazing and help the guys out!

Two foolhardy travellers set out to uncover some of Ireland’s finest swimming spots – be it cove, pier, rock face, tidal pool or cliff edge.

In July and August 2015, we'll pitch our tents along the shores of some well-known and lesser-known locations along Ireland’s coastline. We'll catalogue and travalogue, in words and images, Ireland's finest swimming spots.

We'll bring these stunning coastal locations to life by giving voice to the stories, cultures and rituals Ireland's swimmers, from its dippers to its distance swimmers. We'll record conversations and events, meet with all sorts of characters, and take advice from professionals to reveal Ireland's vibrant coastal swimming culture.
